A small oasis on the beautiful Sempachersee. The newly designed bathing area with such a great restaurant and the new (from 2025) hosts Marco Helfenstein and Nadja Getzmann. They are so friendly and simply great hosts. Coffee, food, drinks can be found in many places, but with friendliness, there is that certain something extra! You can't drive past this!

The St. Ottilien Chapel, with its cruciform floor plan, is one of the most extraordinary Baroque church buildings in Switzerland. In 1572, a brotherhood was founded for its maintenance. Excavations uncovered foundations from the Middle Ages. In 1669, Hans Thüring Feer had a new building erected by Jost Melchior Zur Gilgen. Further information at: Wikipedia.org. Besides the main road and the railway tracks, there is a pleasantly flat path directly on the banks of the Reuss. Perfect for walking from the city to Emmen (or vice versa).
