The Tram Bridge over the Vlaardingervaart canal near Schipluiden is a bicycle bridge. Steam trams of the Westland Steam Tramway Company (WSM) used to run here, transporting vegetables from the Westland region to Delft. Between 1912 and 1932, passengers were also transported. After the war, diesel locomotives were used. The WSM tram line was closed in 1968. The bridge has been used as a bicycle bridge since 1974 and is an important link in the cycle routes of Midden-Delfland. The Tram Bridge has been a national monument since 2001.
