The small Rußweiher is Bavaria's largest moorland lido. Here everyone will find the right activity, from swimming, pedal boating, Stand Up paddling, playing volleyball, fishing to ice stock sport and ice skating in winter. In summer, a trampoline is also available. Various events also take place here all year round. The prices for admission and boat rental are fair.

The forest educational trail was created by the Eschenbacher Waldjugend group and is constantly maintained and renewed. There are two routes of different lengths. Along the wooden path, there are numerous information boards about plants and animals, nesting boxes, and several stations (e.g., wooden raft, sound forest, forest playground, wooden seesaw...) to marvel at and discover. Benches and pavilions for resting and having a snack can be found in several places. Along the wooden path is also the Eschenbacher forest kindergarten, which does not belong to the stations of the wooden path and therefore should not be entered. A trip with the whole family is definitely worth it here!
