The beach cafe is no longer here, but the promenade gives breathtaking views across the harbour, and can offer a place to sit and take in an amazing sunset.

Here the path is the destination... The harbor is small and we didn't like it that much, but the path was picturesque

Currently renovating and reopening sometime in 2024. There is a sign on site. It's a shame, I remembered it from previous years as a nice place for tea and cake.

Funded by donations, a small path by the sea was built here. There are beautiful views as well as numerous benches, steps to viewpoints and everything is very well maintained. Nevertheless, a bit of “life” is still missing; it seems sterile. Maybe there's something else to come? Still, a big thumbs up for the beautification of Combe Martin.

What did we do wrong???? We didn't have anywhere near the dream views shown here. Either there were houses in front of it, trees or bushes (see my pictures). Either we missed something or there are entrances that we didn't find. I can only guess that the pictures that show a dream view here were taken while descending to the first beach. We always stayed at the top of the Coastal Path, maybe that was the problem?

We didn't find the beach very nice today - it was rocky, a bit unkempt, and there were lots of dogs. But there were lots of restaurants around it! Maybe we were just unlucky? It didn't look anything like the photos we posted. The fact that the A-road runs right past it doesn't make it any better.
