Biergarten Birkenheide - Very nice area, the term beer garden only describes it very conditionally. Park-like facility with restaurants, playground, large pond. Drinks and food are available at market prices in self-service. Definitely worth a visit.

The gate is located on the north side of the city near the banks of the Danube. The path used to lead north through this gate with a wooden bridge over the Danube. The "Great Danube Gate" was built in 1470. The gate is a three-story gate tower with a two-and-a-half-story gable roof. The gate has been changed several times over the centuries, especially on the inside. The last renovation took place in 2008. The tourist office was briefly located here. Today it houses the city archives.
