The oldest part of Neuweiler's St. Stephen's Church is the old Romanesque wayside chapel, over whose barrel vault the tower was built in the 12th century. The pinholes in the corner stones are the safest indication of the dating of the tower, which is as old as the Waldhufen settlement "Neuweiler", which was built in the 12th century. I fought my way through the undergrowth and was able to get to the source. But there is no path and the ground is sometimes very swampy.

A trail along the Teinach was set up parallel to the path on the map. Here it is very swampy and only recommended with hiking boots. But very exciting. Unfortunately, you can't quite get to the source of the Teinach, since the headwaters are in the impenetrable undergrowth.
