Lush forest with small lakes and forest glades, providing many habitats for animals and plants. The forest is full of ancient monuments, which are protected and well preserved in the forest. You can use the primitive campsite at the eastern end of the forest.

In September 2021, the city council and the port authority decided to work together on the development and expansion of Rungsted Harbor to ensure that the harbor remains an attractive place for everyone who enjoys being on, in and by the water. The project includes both an extension of the piers and the creation of an event space with, among other things, a play area, benches and sun terraces, as well as an expanded and more varied beach area with an associated rock island and the possibility of establishing a sauna. The harbor expansion also includes better traffic safety for soft road users, more parking spaces as well as more bathing bridges, launch towers, viewing platforms and a ramp to the water for the walking disabled.

Small harbour with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Great for a coffee stop or a bathroom break if you’re cycling the coastal path.
