The Rodund power plant is a power plant of illwerke vkw AG in the Austrian Montafon. The lower balancing reservoirs of Rodundwerk I and Rodundwerk II are located in the municipality of Vandans. Both utilize the height difference to the Latschau reservoir above Tschagguns. On well-maintained dam paths, the reservoirs can be wonderfully circled completely on foot as well as by bike. The play of colors of the water changes greatly with sunlight or fresh rainwater from the mountains ;-)

When one leisure attraction crowds another on about 80,000m², there is certainly something for everyone - and indeed, it is difficult to get bored in the Aktivpark Montafon. Vorarlberg's largest play area offers leisure activities for all ages and can boast some regional superlatives. The adventure scene, outdoors and yet independent of the weather thanks to a huge tent dome, offers children from three to twelve years old an exciting range, from a giant slide and a course for pedal and electric cars to bungee trampoline jumping and the 100m² boat pond. In the adventure forest behind the tent dome, the little ones can let off steam on suspension bridges, swings and a cable car. In the Aquaszenen area, the Alpenbad Montafon, the region's largest adventure outdoor pool, invites you to explore adventure pools, a natural bathing pond, a Bambini pool or a 70-meter tube slide. The range of activity programs for children and adults ensures even more fun in the cool water. Mountain biking is another pillar of the Aktivpark. The Bikeszenen is the largest organiser of cycling tours in Vorarlberg and offers the right thing for every rider with 70 rental bikes. Competent support with route planning as well as guided mountain bike tours are also on the programme. When it gets cold in the mountains, the fun really starts at Aktivpark Montafon: As early as October, the area under the large tent transforms into an 1800m² artificial ice rink, where, in addition to regular ice skating for everyone, ice stock sport and an ice disco also take place. https://www.aktivpark-montafon.at/

Along the straightened Litz river near Schruns, two beautiful gravel paths run along both sides, lined with lovely old houses and trees. A must for both walkers and cyclists. One is called the Hermann Sander Trail, the other the Doktor Vonbun Trail.
