The large indoor adventure area in the aqua zoo and arthropod zoo make Schmiding a weather-independent excursion destination. The Aquazoo is home to Austria's largest marine aquarium with reef sharks and many other fascinating sea creatures. You will experience a fascinating journey through time through evolution with life-size dinosaur models, piranhas, seahorses, armadillos, and much more. There are also spacious indoor and outdoor adventure playgrounds. An absolute highlight at Schmiding Zoo is certainly the Gorillabai - home to Austria's only gorillas.
