Seems to be a free carpark. On Sunday it was fine when we parked there, and there were a couple of other cars too. Not sure about during the week or Saturday when the cafe is open. There was no station attendant on Sunday to ask the question. Information online didn't seem conclusive.

Estate is open 8am to 6pm . Gates at both sections. the one near the Roman Amphitheatre is pedestrian gate -easily get bike through

Mostly smooth gravel although eastern end rougher so best to do eastwards. Gorgeous woodland.

This is a fun and rocky descent or ascent (depending on direction) through towering pine woodland. Be careful in autumn as the leaf fall can cause a slippery surface.
