Opened in 1894, Central Park is an area of outdoor space designed for all to enjoy in the centre of Chelmsford. Backing onto the River Can, it has areas of grass for relaxing as well as formal planting. There's also a playground and cafe.

Pretty Essex village centred around the village pond. A lovely spot to stop for a breather or refreshment.

Escaping north east from Chelmsford on quiet, flowing lanes. A pleasure to ride with fields on all sides.

Lovely little church in the tiny Hamlet of Good Easter. The perfect spot for a quick pause in the shade of a quiet tree.

Pleasant little cafe but only limited space, indoors and out, and no space for bike parking so best for only a couple of riders - larger groups, go elsewhere. Cakes and drinks only.
