St Michael's Church is a spacious structure of flint and stone, standing on the south aide of the town, on an elevated site. The building was commenced in the reign of Edward III (1327 – 1377). It was afterwards greatly enlarged, particularly in the reign of Henry VIII when the roof was heightened and the south aisle built.

Looks like I might have walked around someone's garden. This 13th century church is actually not a church anymore. It's been beautifully converted into a three-bedroom home in 1991.
