A very original kiosk with seating right next door - very individual and also very good at moderate prices - a very good place for a rest and a stop - highly recommended.

The best café/bar on Lake Millstatt. Always a good place for a coffee and cake stop. The breakfast buffet is also highly recommended. There are also numerous bike racks in front of the cape where you can park your bike.

... is conveyed in Millstatt ... here the reference to the former imperial name of the state road and in memory of a dutiful gendarme.

The bays and shores of Lake Millstatt are very different. The western bay, with its rather built-up shoreline, contrasts with the mystical southern bay. To soak up these differences, a leisurely bike ride around the lake is recommended. I now prefer a clockwise cycle, as it brings you closer to the shore.

Especially along the cycle path along the southern shore, many rest areas have been created near the shore, offering beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding area. These are perfect places to recharge your batteries.
