Blue Bell Pub - fantastic Sunday stop for lunch. Serving Baguettes and jackets alongside a hot food menu. They were incredibly friendly and had a cycle station for repairs. Highly recommend..also saved us heading south to the café when continuing West/East

Ideal practice loop on the gravel bike. Traffic free and flat bar the steep but short bump in the north east corner.

Lovely little track across an open field on the Hampton Estate. Live stock (friendly cows) are often here, so make sure to shut the gates either end.

Watts Gallery opened at the start of the 20th century and is dedicated entirely to the artist, George Frederic Watts. It makes a unique place to run to, especially lovely from Guildford where you can go along the River Wey and the North Downs Way. There is a good cafe too.

This beautiful Norman Church of St. Mary’s that we see today was built between 1150 and 1200, but was preceded by a smaller one that is listed in Domesday Book of 1086. Whether or not it was a Saxon building is not certainly known but the manor of Mapledurham, of which Buriton was the centre, was Saxon.
