Great coffee (roasted locally by Coldblow Coffee) The toasties we had were super, along with the homemade cake. Clean toilets and friendly staff. We sat in the front garden so we could see the bikes left by the old Post box. Well recommended, with good opening hours. https://www.theoldpostofficecoffeeshop.co.uk/

Fully restored, Lower Mill was built in 1820 on the edge of the pretty village of Woodchurch. The mill is open to visitors between 2pm and 5pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays from Easter to the end of September.

Largely 12th-century, St Mary Magdalene's church in Ruckinge is quite something to see. You can watch its exceptional age seeping out of every stone, and admire its charming 14th-century door. The church sits in the village of Ruckinge, which itself dates back to at least the time of the Domesday Book. The Royal Military Canal is a short walk away.
