A wonderful climb, quite long and challenging, but settle in and take it steady - very satisfying.

Whichever way you've come up to get here you'll have done some climbing, so make sure to enjoy the epic views out over the High Weald and Ashdown Forest. Especially if you came up Kidd's Hill (the Wall), one of the top 100 UK climbs. Usually quiet, with a great road surface, it's a cycling paradise.

The Church of St. Peter and St. Paul was rebuilt in 1431, although the original 14th-century tower remains. There had been a church on the site for some centuries before the 14th-century building and is Grade I listed.
