The name is wrong, it's not the Tizi n'Test! The gradient is moderate, around 10%, with short bursts up to 16% according to the bike computer. The road is mostly good, but there are some nasty potholes that can ruin a fast descent.

The N9 road through Taddart is all good tarmac. The village itself has got one hostel for accomodation and typical local infrastructure in terms of food, etc. I enjoyed my overnight stay and mingling with the locals, who are easily approachable and always supportive.

The reward is worth the pain. Slopes are gentle. The overall effort requires some solid fitness. The tarmac is excellent. No issues with my 28mm road tyres.
