This trig point is, of course, a remnant from a time before the high trees. Over time, the trees have obscured any line of sight to and from the trig point from elsewhere

Greno Woods is a beautiful reserve covering 178 hectares, which existed as early as 1600AD. It is a peaceful ancient woodland with lots to look out for including brown hares, badgers, bats and the rare shining guest ant. There are over 60 species of birds including linnet, redpoll and little owl.
