This highlight marks the 1.4 km long path between Barsbek and Wendtorf. Back then, people would say "over the Jordan" if they wanted to go from Barsbek to Wendtorf. Now, they didn't walk to Israel, but simply crossed a fence ditch. Where the "Jordan" once was, there is now a paved path. So, if you want to go to Wendtorf now, the Jordan is no longer an obstacle.
