When we went this way in December 25 the route on the map was very difficult to get through. If it looks wild go around, there is more than one path up to the pillbox.

A flat walk but maybe muddy at times. so good walking boots would be wise.

Amazing historic site featuring Ramparts that meander the ancient woodland. Now beautifully wild with Heather heathlands as a feature.

When approaching 'The Staircase' in Plymouth, be prepared to dismount and walk your bike up the steps, as this section is not rideable [1]. To ensure safety, especially if you're wearing cycling shoes with cleats, consider switching to footwear with better grip or using cleat covers to prevent slipping. Additionally, be cautious of potential hazards like loose rocks or debris on the steps.
