The artwork #inconcreto is both a tourist attraction and a viewpoint. #inconcreto is a concrete head over four meters high and slightly less wide. This landscape artwork by Frits Jeuris is about the contrast between abstract and concrete. A place that inspires reflection and fresh ideas. From the top of the giant concrete head, you overlook the surroundings.

On the site where a manor house stood in the Middle Ages, the castle of Hardelingen was built in the 19th century. The site had continuous habitation from early on and was closely linked for centuries to agricultural exploitation in the fertile valley of the Werm. As a manor house, the domain served not only as a residence but also as an economic center that managed and structured the surrounding land within the traditional agricultural landscape of Haspengouw. Today, the castle of Hardelingen, located in the quiet village of Werm, is a valuable example of the transformation of a medieval manor house into a stately 19th-century country residence. The castle and the surrounding park landscape strikingly illustrate the neoclassical ideals of order, harmony, and scenic beauty, thus occupying a special place in the heritage of Haspengouw. This remarkable stone pillar, with the inscription "Wijgartsberch gilde 27-1-’81" proves that we are here at the entrance of the Wijngaardbos on the border of Tongeren and Hoeselt. It concerns a fruit wine that is fermented in a special way. In honor of the fruit harvest, an annual harvest walk is held, during which a delicious glass is naturally drunk.

Maretak (Viscum album) is a plant species from the sandalwood family (Santalaceae). The plant lives on trees and shrubs. It is a hemiparasite. The name 'maretak' is derived from the Old Germanic word mare (witch, nightmare, nocturnal tormentor or ghost). Hanging the plant or a branch of it in the stable would keep the aforementioned evil at bay. The species is also often called birdlime or mistletoe, or referred to by the English name mistletoe. Maretak is a hemiparasite living on living wood that roots in the wood of the host, from which it depends on water and salts.

An early Gothic church from the 13th and 14th centuries used to stand here, which was demolished in 1904. The tower and choir were spared. However, the nave was replaced by a wider nave, designed by Mathieu Christiaens. In 1965, this nave was also replaced by a modernist hall church, the axis of which was projected perpendicular to that of the original, oriented church. The architects were Joseph Deré and Janssens. The square tower was originally a west tower. It is made of marlstone. In 1965, rare frescoes were found in the old choir, which were applied in the 13th century and had been covered for centuries, depicting events from the life of Saint Hubert. The frescoes date from the time of Jan van Elderen, Lord of Hern, who later became a monk and prior at the Abbey of Saint Hubert de Saint Hubert.
