It has a rectangular floor plan with three naves and a bell tower, which is attached to the left of the façade. The three apses, decorated with double arches, spires, and pilasters, remain from the original building on the outside; inside, the four capitals and the symbols of the Evangelists in the entrance area have been preserved. The bell tower was built in the 17th century by adding more storeys and remodeling a defensive tower in the northern part of the city wall, which reached approximately to the height of the church roof. The bell tower acquired its present appearance during the 18th-century renovations. Like the rest of the church, it remained plastered until restoration work in 1990. Source: Wikipedia

Starting point for the final stretch of the steepest climb to Monte San Primo. Due to the fairly cobblestones, you'll have to push your e-MTB uphill, but with the "walk" command, it's doable. If you then descend towards Bellagio along the ridge of the Larian Triangle, in dry conditions it's guaranteed fun!
