The Pizzo Badile Camuno is one of the most iconic peaks in the middle Val Camonica: a limestone mountain with an unmistakable shape, a summit at 2,435 m, spectacular views, and a challenging but very rewarding via ferrata. Simple peak, but spectacular in every season

The last stretch to reach the cross must be done on foot or carrying the bike on your shoulder, but the view is certainly worth it. Beautiful view even if (obviously) it's very windy at the top. In mid-June there was still some residual snow, so I recommend going there from July onwards.

The climb from Ono San Pietro is really steep, it is ideal to tackle it with an EMTB. Going up instead from Val di Scalve, the climb is more manageable. Place that deserves to be visited.
