Cornagera is a rocky micro-world, made of towers, pinnacles, vertical walls, intricate labyrinths, cavities and small screes. All this just a few dozen minutes' walk from the Aviatico car park, near Selvino, in the middle of the Seriana Valley. You will be amazed by the sudden environmental change you will encounter as you pass from the woods to the limestone area of pinnacles and rock formations. It is an easy excursion suitable for a mid-morning escape, to be avoided during the summer. Also ideal for enjoying the sunset from the summit and returning before dark.

Monte Zucco Summit Cross

Highlight • Summit

Half an hour's walk from the ref. Wolves. The view from the cross overlooks the city of S. Pellegrino and the Brembo river that crosses it. I found a particularly clear day and for this reason our trip was extraordinary, it's a shame that the strong wind made us dislodge a little earlier than we wanted. Therefore I recommend a nice windbreaker if it's not summer... and obviously boots because the last stretch of the climb is very difficult between rocks that you might need to put your hands on. However, it can also be done by children.

A cross located on the summit of Mount Alben, truly beautiful to reach on foot from the Creste. There's also a mountain rose from which to admire and search for the visible peaks.

May 17, 25 Challenging trekking, but not stressful at all. Fascinating woodland crossing, well marked. Opening onto the upper valley emotionally rich in suggestion. The last stretch on the ridge must be covered with due caution, sometimes with the help of the hands. Suitable for expert hikers especially on a physical rather than technical level. Definitely recommended without snow! (with snow I think it's a completely different thing) The refuge along the route is excellent and the guys who manage it are exceptional.
