A few decades ago it was a stopping point for the wagons that transported the grapes to the Rossi distillery in Angera. The basin of the fountain is actually a Roman sarcophagus dating back to the second century AD. The water that flows from the fountain is very fresh and invites you to fill your water bottle.

Guree beach in Monvalle is a predominantly sandy location, equipped with equipment and a large free car park. On the lake shore there is a bar/pizzeria with outdoor tables, shaded during the hottest hours, which offers the rental of sunbeds and umbrellas. The beach is particularly suitable for families with children, thanks to the shallow depth of the water for many metres.
