Recommended – but not on weekends. Otherwise, it's packed like ants – on nice days it's simply overcrowded due to the gondola.

The title is somewhat misleading, as the majority of the trail is simply rocky. The Sentiero 627 has some somewhat difficult sections (steps and narrow passages), but these are manageable with caution, especially since there is a wire rope safety system.

FERRATA = FERRATA KIT. Stop saying it's "not necessary," but who says so? I climbed the via ferrata on Sunday, August 31, 2025, and the rock was smooth and wet. I met terrified and unsure people who found themselves there, unsure of what to do because they'd been told a harness wouldn't be necessary, that it would be easy. You should ALWAYS carry the kit, and then decide at your own risk whether or not to use it. These statements are dangerous; they create traffic jams on via ferratas and put those who don't feel safe and those around them at risk.
