Along the Restera, the picturesque cycle-pedestrian path that runs along the Sile river between Silea and Casier, lies one of the most fascinating industrial archaeological sites in the Veneto region: the Cimitero dei Burci (Ship Graveyard). In this stretch of water lie the wrecks of nineteen large historic wooden transport vessels, precisely called "burci". Used for centuries to transport goods from Treviso to Venice, these ships were deliberately sunk by their boatmen between 1974 and 1975 as a form of protest against the advent of road transport, which was marking the end of their era. Today, a system of wooden walkways suspended over the water allows you to walk right over the wrecks, which have been partially submerged and colonized by river flora and fauna, creating a unique and poetic blend of history and nature.

The Green Lake of Casier is a charming natural oasis located in Dosson, fortunately born from the environmental recovery of a former clay quarry. This body of water, surrounded by dense riparian vegetation, has become over time a true refuge for local biodiversity and a beloved destination for those seeking a peaceful corner just a stone's throw from Treviso. Today, the area is mainly managed for sport fishing and is frequented by families and walkers who take advantage of the shaded paths along its banks to relax or engage in outdoor activities. Together with the nearby stretch of the Sile Park, the Green Lake represents a fundamental green lung for the municipal territory, demonstrating how nature can splendidly reclaim spaces once linked to industrial activity.

The Cimitero dei burci is located at the confluence between the new cut of the Sile and the branch of the Sil morto, in a sheltered bend of the Sile river. Its area is about 15,000 square meters.

L'Isola della Pescheria is the beating, scenic heart of Treviso, a small artificial islet lapped by the waters of the Cagnan Grando. Created in the mid-19th century to move the fish market from the monumental center, it today represents one of the most authentic corners of the city. In the morning, the island comes alive with the historic market, a ritual that blends the scents of the sea with the chatter of vendors under the arcades. Beyond the commercial aspect, the place enchants with its architectural beauty: it is surrounded by frescoed palaces and weeping willows that are reflected in the canal, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of nearby Venice. Walking on the wrought-iron bridges or admiring the ancient mill wheels still present nearby, one can feel Treviso's ancient bond with water. The Duomo of Treviso, dedicated to Saint Peter the Apostle, is the city's main place of worship and stands on an area occupied by sacred buildings since Roman times. Its current monumental appearance is the result of centuries of stratification: the neoclassical facade with the imposing six-column pronaos was added in the 19th century, while the rear body retains the Renaissance structure. Inside, the cathedral houses artistic treasures of immense value, including the Malchiostro Annunciation by Titian, a masterpiece from 1520. Beneath the presbytery, access is gained to the evocative 11th-century crypt, a forest of small columns housing the remains of Saint Liberale, the city's patron saint. The complex also includes the Romanesque Baptistery of Saint John, completing this religious hub where Romanesque, Renaissance, and Neoclassical styles coexist in harmonious balance.

Dominating Piazza dei Signori, the Torre Civica represents the symbol of municipal authority and the highest point of Treviso's urban profile. Its construction dates back to the 13th century, parallel to the building of the Palazzo dei Trecento, but its current appearance is the result of important restoration work carried out between the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Characterized by a massive brick structure, the tower is crowned with Ghibelline battlements and houses a bell tower that still marks the solemn moments of city life today. A large clock stands out on the facade, while at the base is the shrine dedicated to the fallen. With its 48 meters in height, it towers over the Palazzo del Podestà, testifying to centuries of Treviso's history, from medieval struggles to post-war reconstruction.
