The 43rd parallel of the northern hemisphere is an imaginary line on the Earth's surface that crosses the Municipality of Grottammare along its path. At the exact point where it runs, along the cycle path that connects Grottammare to Cupra Marittima, the Dream Point 43rd parallel was inaugurated on May 5, 2012, consisting of a sculptural group of Ascoli travertine and white Abruzzo stone, created by the master Francesco Santori. The work, symbolizing the terrestrial globe, with a large "G" in the center, also represents the four Sanctuaries crossed by the Parallel (Santiago de Compostela, Lourdes, Assisi and Medjugorje). https://fondoambiente.it/luoghi/43°-parallelo?ldc

The Luigi Mercantini Theater is named after a poet of the Risorgimento from Ripatransone. The hall has a capacity of about 250 spectators and occupies the entire first and second floors of the Palazzo del Podestà (or degli Anziani), whose main facade, with Gothic features, creates a strong visual impact on the building fabric. The two lateral wings were built at the end of the 19th century by the engineer Pietro Dasti. The U-shaped shape of the hall was probably due to space requirements: the neoclassical architect Pietro Maggi was conditioned by the pre-existing wall structures of the ancient palace in which the theater hall was inserted. It was decorated in 1875 by Giovanni Micca and enriched by a historic curtain by the artist Ruffini di Falerone. The splendid flat ceiling, characterized by harmonious colors, is decorated with a series of medallions. Six of them depict the faces of Rossini, Verdi, Bellini, Metastasio, Goldoni and Alfieri. The old road, with which the "foreigners" reached Torchiaro. Beautiful and panoramic dirt road. If it rains there is mud and the wheels slip with the slope that goes beyond 20%
