The Roda di Vaèl refuge is located 2,283 meters above sea level on the Ciampaz saddle, in the heart of the Catinaccio and Rosengarten group, among the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. Great hut with over 100 beds to stay overnight... TOP showers, but very short for showering with a token... but saving water is the order of the day. Great view of the Schlern and the Alpe di Siusi. Very tasty menu in the evening. Really recommendable.
