The Frommer is worth a stop in both summer and winter. The coffee and food are good, and the service has been "consistent" for years. Conveniently located near the cable car station between Welschenhofen and the Kölner Hütte. Also a great place to stop for trail bikers 😉

Important information about why all the trees are gone. A major storm in 2018 caused extensive damage.
