Almost like the Netherlands, fantastic asphalt without cars. It's a great place to drive and watch the canal.

Top cycle path with smooth asphalt. As part of the expansion of the IGA cycle path Bergkamen-Lünen, the section from Wasserstadt Aden to Preußenhafen has been asphalted since mid-2025. LED lamps and further expansion towards Marina Rünthe will follow. Those who prefer the gravelly variant can simply cycle on the other side of the canal.
