Modigliana overlooks a historic town in the so-called Tuscan Romagna (until 1923 it was in the province of Florence), a place of enchantment and the birthplace of the painter Silvestro Lega, author of famous portraits of Mazzini and Garibaldi, to whom the civic art gallery in the Palazzo Pretorio, which once belonged to the Guidi counts, was dedicated: the typical sweet, the mandorlato, is a must-try.

There are moments that transform a simple stretch of road into a mythical place. On January 12, 2025, Francesco Galassi wrote a page in mountain bike history by tackling this curve with a trajectory bordering on the impossible. After the crazy speed accumulated along the rapid Via Frati, the rider tackled the braking with absolute mastery, defying gravity and taming the trajectory with control worthy of the greatest in motorsport. Like a wave breaking on the cliff, his bike almost grazed the side wall, using it as a natural parabolic. A spectacular technical gesture, an action destined to become legend. Since that day, this curve has borne his name: Curva Galassi, an eternal tribute to skill, courage and speed. Anyone who passes by here, know that they are pedaling on a track where audacity has left its mark. ================= There are moments that turn an ordinary stretch of road into a legendary place.
