Unfortunately, the bridge is currently almost unusable. Parts of the railing are broken off, and the bridge is crooked and extremely slippery.

FeRo had really terrible weather conditions and still made a recommendation. And rightly so! I was there in September 2024 and had fantastic and sunny early autumn weather - pure enjoyment. It is the picturesque Wehrenteich, which is fed by the Wehrenbek. It is now a refuge for water birds and amphibians. It is completely surrounded by forest and is only accessible to visitors at this one point.

At the bend at the entrance to the village there is an old farmer's cottage. If you follow the Dorfstrasse, there is always something to discover on the left and right of the path. After the village, you automatically follow the service road where there are many fruit trees. 😉

From the actual route there is an avenue on the right with chestnut trees to the right and left.
