Atrani is the smallest municipality in Italy by area (just 0.12 km²), a medieval jewel set in the rock of the Amalfi Coast. Located less than a kilometer from the very crowded Amalfi, this ancient fishing village develops vertically at the mouth of the Dragon Valley, appearing to visitors as a true living nativity scene suspended over the sea.

Torre del Capo di Atrani (or Torre di San Francesco) This is the actual coastal tower located on the promontory that divides Amalfi from Atrani, along the Amalfitana State Road. History: Originally built in the Middle Ages as part of the defensive system of the Castrum Leonis, it was later adapted in the viceregal period (16th century) to protect the population from the fierce raids of Saracen and Turkish pirates. It is also called "Torre di San Francesco" due to its proximity to the ancient Franciscan convent. Current state: Today the tower is incorporated into the structure of the historic Hotel Luna Convento. As it is private property, the interior is not open to the public, but its imposing cylindrical shape close to the sea remains one of the most photographed symbols of this stretch of coast.

Do you know the history of the Bourbon Bridge? It is the project of the Seiano bridge, an infrastructure desired by Ferdinand II of Bourbon in 1832. Its arches have been standing for almost 2 centuries! Named Ponte Nuovo to distinguish it from the previous Ponte Orazio, from Roman times (later called Ponte Vecchio or also Ponte Maiuro, in all probability from the Latin major), it was built in Seiano in 1832, when the then king of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies Ferdinand II of Bourbon commissioned its design to the engineer Luigi Giordano, responsible for bridges and roads. The Bourbon bridge of Seiano is, in fact, the result of an urban planning design to connect Castellammare di Stabia, Vico Equense, Meta and Sorrento. The idea would have come to the Neapolitan sovereign after a trip along the Scutari road

The expression "Fonte dell'Acqua della Madonna" mainly refers to the famous spring of Castellammare di Stabia (NA), also known as "Acqua dei Naviganti". Discovered in 1841, it is located in Via Acton and is renowned because its organoleptic characteristics remain unchanged for a long time, making it historically ideal for sea voyages. The name is linked to the proximity of the Church of Santa Maria di Porto Salvo, built by the sailors' confraternity.
