The village church was built in 1724 in the Baroque style to replace a previous building. Only the Gothic tower remains of the original building. The church's patronage was held by the local noble Katte family. In 1750, a Rococo-style organ case was installed inside. In 1934, an organ by Wilhelm Rühlmann with 11 stops on two manuals and a pedal[1] was installed.
