Very beautiful raised bog, numerous seating options 😁 Pietzmoor by bike??? It is no longer allowed! Can you cycle through the Pietzmoor? Unfortunately, no. Bike racks are available at the entrance near the Hotel Schäferhof. https://www.lueneburger-heide.de/natur/sehenswuerdigkeit/332/pietzmoor-schneverdingen.html

The path leads gently up and down through the beautiful heathland... a magnificent sight, especially during the flowering season... with luck you might spot the Heidschnucken sheep.

The Töpferstein stands on the Suhorn. The Suhorn is 108 meters high. The memorial stone is a large boulder. It is dedicated to Alfred Töpfer, who was chairman of the Nature Park Association for many years. The stone stands next to the hut, where information panels still provide information about Alfred Töpfer, the mountain, and its flora and fauna. The hut offers shelter, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful view of the heathland even in bad weather.
