From the trail you have a very beautiful view of the Geißkopf and the surrounding mountains. Note that your path is also used by hikers, as the European long-distance hiking trail E4 runs along here.

The hut itself is sheltered in the forest, meaning there are no panoramic views. But there are plenty of them along the way, and the paths are really well-maintained. The section of the trail leading south a few hundred meters is also marked on komoot as a dashed hiking trail (just under a meter wide and nicely freshly graveled) and then meets the Kehlegg - Weissenfluh trail. The hut owners are cool, very friendly, and have a great menu with excellent food and cakes, mostly organic, almost all regional. Hard to believe, despite this "isolation": The hut owners Bettina and Kurt regularly organize musical events up there (not brass bands like everywhere else): https://bregenzerhuette.naturfreunde.at/ There are also some nice rooms! We definitely have to go back. Ideally with an overnight stay and an event...
