According to plans and surveys, approximately 15 km of tunnels and mining faces are known, extending under the town of Neubulach. In 1970, the tunnel was developed into an impressive museum and excellently expanded - an exciting experience for young and old. The tunnel is easily accessible at ground level, with no steps. A guided tour lasts about 40 minutes and provides an insight into the world of medieval mining and the extraction of silver and ore in Neubulach. Many minerals can be seen on the ore wall, including the blue azurite or the green malachite, which were used as paint colours in churches and on frescoes.

The Calwer Tor is the historical landmark of Neubulach. The 13th-century Staufen gate tower offers a fantastic panoramic view from the restored tower room over the Heckengäu, the Nagold valley, and up to the Swabian Jura.

The connecting path leads into the Teinachtal and is not a trail as komoot makes it out to be.

I had actually expected the highlight to be called "Window to Teinach". In any case, you look out over Teinach through a large wooden frame.

The entire climb to Neubulach is on very easy-to-drive concrete slabs.

Caution: Both bridges are so narrow that you can't walk alongside your bike. You can't ride across the wooden bridge; it's best to carry your bike if it's light.
