The church dedicated to Saint Sixtus, a simple hall building, was built in 1728. It gains its importance as an outstanding example of rural rococo through the delicate, matt green Wessobrunn stucco and the colorful ceiling frescoes by Mathäus Günther from the life of Saint Sixtus. (from Liegl/Schönmann: Art journey through Bavaria between the Danube and the Alps) The church is worth seeing. It is currently being restored inside and out. This work will take at least another year. That's why I didn't take a picture.

The church, which is essentially Gothic, was rebuilt in a neo-Gothic style in the 18th century. Unfortunately I couldn't find out when it was built.
