The only thing that remains of the former castle, which was primarily used to secure trade routes, is the keep, which can be seen from afar. On a walk from the market square to the city park, you can see the building from a variety of perspectives. A tour inside is currently not possible.

The complex is now privately owned and does not allow viewing or getting closer. It is also not possible to enter the tower. A tour along the wall close to the tower is possible. To get a nice view you would have to know the owner well and be allowed in. 😉

Benches, a beautiful view of the water, the right place for a rest.🚴🏻♂️ The Triptis city park comes from a drained swamp area. Today it includes a pond and meadow areas with trees.
