The "shelter" in the city is quite a curiosity, thanks to which you can feel for a moment like you are on a larger expedition to the mountains. At the same time, on the western side there is a quite steep climb - more suitable for bicycles with good gears or electric bikes.

Emil Wunderlich's first plant in Stary Zdrój, producing decals, was launched on January 27, 1896 and operated in a building under the name "Mansfelder Haus". The building was designed by the architect of the Wałbrzych town hall, Hermann Friedrich Wäsemann. The palace was erected in the years 1860-1863 for Carl Robert Tielsch, the owner of a nearby porcelain factory (Manufakturist C. Tielsch & Co. Altwasser), later Fabryka Porcelany Wałbrch S.A. After World War II, for many years the villa served as the seat of the management of the PKP Railway Lines Department in Wałbrzych. From the late 1990s to 2008, it stood empty and dilapidated. The new owner, a private entrepreneur in Wałbrzych, started its renovation. Today, the former building of the Tielsch family houses various offices and service outlets.
