I've been searching for information about the date of construction of this "Chinese gazebo" for a long time. But everything points to it being a modern structure. I haven't found it in any "old photos" or postcards. It's also not listed on the National Register of Historic Places. However, "oral histories" suggest it was built before the 1990s.
