This upper section of the Rocky Ridge Horse Trail is locked in an infrequently traveled forest, and it becomes harder to follow after this. Once you reach the dirt Midway Road, you can decide if you want to push through the overgrown trail any longer. You probably won't see anyone else out hiking if you make it out to this section of trail.
