the Shiloh Trail goes from the main Metrolink Bike Path into Shiloh, IL along the Shiloh Station Road. very nice asphalt surface which transitions to concrete when you get into the residential area. this links old Downtown Shiloh to the Metrolink Bike path.

The main metrolink bike path goes through South West Illinois College. The Dr Tom Amlung Nature Trail coincides with the Metrolink trail and is very nice. there are educational displays along the short section that explains the flora and fauna of the area. USE care when on this section as it does have quite a bit of foot traffic.

The heck with the bridges of Madison county, it is all about the bike trails of Madison County!! This trail actually links both Madison and St Clair counties together. It is possible to get from old downtown O’Fallon, IL to Edwardsville via trails and a bit of quiet residential streets. The Goshen is awesome trail with a nice trailhead in OFallon.

Nice biking and pedestrian-only bridge. The MCT Trail has several bridges to cross busy roads, and this is one of the longest.
