It's a great track, but if you do go off it and find your own little routes, do so with caution. It can be quite the bogfest

Longham Lakes are a double lake separated by a narrow causeway. It's managed as a wildlife reserve and fishing lakes. There is a nice path around the area, perfect for an easy walk.

An Iron Age fort, Dudsbury Camp lies in a chain of such forts which starts at Hambledon Hill and ends at Hengistbury Head. This isn't quite as impressive as the others, low-lying and not quite as obvious, but you can still see earthworks in the south-west of the site.

Great place to sit and take a rest. I believe you can get down to the river near this point but wouldn’t advice to do so

Deceptively steep (don’t look too much into the picture) and slightly technical ascent. Surface is a loose/fine dusty mud, go easy!

Beautiful spot, though Little hard to get to. Able bodied people can access and swim. Unknown river pool current strength.
