Not easy to cross the B488 as it can be a busy stretch, there needs to be a footpath leading safely to the public footpath entrance.

There is a little carpark which is free at the B488 end

Beautiful woodland feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Look out for the deer they like to lay up here during the day

don't follow the original route all the way along the road back. Take a footpath off to the left to cross open fields with much better views

wonderful cafe, Spanish tortilla for lunch was excellent!

The path takes you right past this windmill.

New cafe opened around August 2023. Daisychain is at he Ivinghoe Community Hub which replaces the cafe which used to operate in the other half of the building. A good latte and I won't have to ride by wishing the old cafe was open!
