The photos don’t really do it justice. It’s a nice view.

This is just a little waterfall but worth going to have a look at. It is quite amazing that the waterfall is located in a lane that is right in the middle of a residential area. It is however close to a good walking route.

Limited parking at the start point in Cockshot Lane, then a decent short track walk topped by a nice trig & bench viewpoint.

The fact that a Christian house of worship - essentially encompassing the whole of heaven - is consecrated "ALL SAINTS" is not that common; it is usually one (or occasionally two) named saints who are the patron saint of a church - and therefore usually also over the municipality or town in which it is located. But in search of the origin you have to go far back into history, because the model for this practice of dedicating to ALL SAINTS can be seen as a pagan custom, according to which there were already central temples in pre-Christian times that were generally dedicated to all deities (PANTHEON). were consecrated. Probably the most famous Pantheon, a former pagan temple and now a Christian place of worship, is located in the Italian capital.

This is the view from Wheatham Hill, at 817 feet (249 m). William Cobbett wrote about this view in 1822 as part of his 'Rural Rides' book. "...out we came, all in a moment, at the very edge of the hanger! And never, in all my life, was I so surprised and so delighted! I pulled up my horse, and sat and looked; and it was like looking from the top of a castle down into the sea; except that the valley was land not water."
