This stretch amid reeds and next to the water was a slow-paced, serene pleasure riding through on a gravel bike, mostly on grass. In mid-April, the grass wasn't particularly long and the ground fairly dry. It probably gets boggy after substantial rainfall.

Expect long grass and a rutted surface. Itโs tricky to cycle along but do-able, and thereโs plenty of wildlife spotting opportunities.

Bumpy but worth a go - single farm track/gravel - Gt Ouse Bridge, Aldreth/Willingham. I guess it's familiar to gravel and off-road adventurers on ๐ฒ.

Nice single-track bridleway along fields rideable on a gravel bike. After a dry stretch of weather in February, there wasn't any mud, just damp ground.
