On the road up the hill is the historic building of what is now the "Our Lady of Lourdes" nursing home. Founded in 1928 "in everlasting memory of the war dead," it was originally intended for the "elderly poor," as described by the plaque still present on the side of the building. It has a very classic, pre-reinforced concrete structure that almost resembles a modified church—on the valley façade, you can see signs of a demolished building, likely a chapel originally annexed to the main building. The other pavilions of the nursing home are of less interest, but this one, clearly visible from the road, is definitely worth a visit.
