Prague Castle majestically towers over a hill above the Vltava River and is one of the largest castle complexes in the world. From many vantage points in the city, such as Charles Bridge or Petrin Hill, you have a magnificent view of this landmark. 🌉👑

The church's location is unfortunately not ideal. It is surrounded by major roads.

The Charles Bridge, spanning the Vltava River, offers an unobstructed view of Hradčany Hill, upon which Prague Castle sits. A particularly magical scene unfolds at sunrise, sunset, or dusk when the castle is illuminated.

The Charles Bridge is the oldest bridge in Prague, connecting the Old Town (Staré Město) with the Malá Strana district, where Prague Castle is located. It was built between 1357 and 1402. It takes its name from King Charles IV, who was in power during its construction. Crossing the bridge is a must to enjoy beautiful views of the city. The worst thing is that it's always crowded, no matter what time of day you go, but the crowds and the throngs are something we have to get used to in Prague.

Without a doubt, you should definitely visit in the early hours when it's not quite as crowded...
